Introduction
When the module for Group Discussions is added to a page, it serves several functions to facilitate communication and collaboration among users.
Add a Group Discussion module
- Click the gear icon in the upper right of the software.
- In the left navigation panel click Pages in the Layout section.
- Click the desired page (or create a new page if needed). You can now customize this page.
- In the left hand panel click the + to add a module.
- Choose Global Discussion. Global Discussion will now be displayed in the left-hand panel.
- Click on Global Discussion, in the left hand panel, to configure the module.
- Enter a Title for the discussion. This is visible to the members.
- If you want members to be able to post discussions enable Allow members to post new discussions.
- After completing your configuration click the X at the top of the settings to collapse the Global Discussion configuration settings.
- Click Save Page.
You have now added the Global Discussion module to your page. Users will be able to view, comment and like posts in the feed.
